Countries I’ve Lived In or Visited

Over the years, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to explore 51 countries across six continents, some with family, others with friends, and many during my unforgettable journey as a Rolex Scholar. I also traveled a lot with my husband, and together, we shared many incredible adventures. Each destination holds unique memories, lessons, and moments that have shaped who I am today.

I love traveling, mainly to learn about shark tourism and diving, to experience how different parts of the world protect their marine ecosystems, but also to simply visit beautiful places. The list of countries I still want to visit and explore only seems to grow with time. This passion has taken me to remote islands, world-class dive sites, research labs, resilient coastal communities, and breathtaking landscapes.

Here’s a look at the countries I’ve visited so far:

EUROPE: Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Greece, Czechia, North Macedonia, Slovenia.

CARIBBEAN & CENTRAL AMERICA: Anguilla, Aruba, Bahamas, Belize, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Panama, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Martin, Sint Maarten, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, Puerto Rico.

NORTH AMERICA: Canada, United States, Mexico.

SOUTH AMERICA: Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil.

AFRICA: Morocco, South Africa.

ASIA & OCEANIA: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Fiji, Guam, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Australia, Maldives.

Some of these journeys were short visits, others turned into long adventures. Whether I was diving coral reefs, working on conservation projects, hiking through stunning landscapes, sharing meals with locals, or simply wandering the streets of a new city, each country offered something special.

I want to use this space as a diary, slowly writing about each of these experiences one by one as time allows. Every story deserves the space to be told.
